Armed with big city culinary experience, Andy oversaw the diner for several years. Eventually, Andy needed to attend to family matters in the Bay Area and decided to lease out the business. During this interlude, the diner slipped in quality.

More than 200 people attended to share in an evening of fun, entertainment and recognition of their peers. Truckee was the center of a commercial shoot for Apple on Tuesday, but what the commercial was for is anyone's guess. The commercial was shot on-location at the restaurant "Jax at the Tracks," a restaurant that serves "comfort food" according to its facebook page. The restaurant was chosen for the commercial shoot by a scout for Apple.

Rumours buzzed this week when it was revealed Apple had shot a commercial for a mystery new product. Of course, there was tight security on the film set. "Because the product they were advertising hadn't been released, members of the group didn't release any information, or allow any photographs," a local report claims.

A new Apple ad was filmed Tuesday at a Californian restaurant, allegedly for a secret, unreleased product. No details were provided due to a veil of secrecy and tight security surrounding the filming. The only three products that come in mind are MacBooks, new iPod models, and a rumored Apple tablet.

Rumors are swirling that Apple is set to unveil a new tablet computer -- a sort of supersized iPhone or mini MacBook minus a physical keyboard. Now the company reportedly shot a commercial in Truckee , Calif., a popular ski resort in the Sierras. Bud Haley , the owner of local diner Jax on the Tracks, told the Truckee Sierra-Sun that a location scout working for Apple picked his restaurant.

Apple is apparently shooting an ad for a new, unreleased product in Truckee, California, which is near Lake Tahoe and good skiing during the winter. Allegedly, the ad was being shot at a diner called " Jax at the Tracks ." (We haven't been able to confirm whether Apple really was filming in the diner, but it does exist).

Jax on the Tracks owner Bud Haley said a location scout found his restaurant for the project. "Apple found us trying to show us as a hip and cool spot for the 20-something crowd," Haley said.
